The hotel didn't quite live up to the 5-star expectations set by other resorts I've visited. While the room was spacious and well-equipped, the overall service was lacking and often felt underwhelming. The dining options were somewhat average, and the food temperature was often too cold for my taste. Additionally, the pool area was overcrowded and the availability of sun loungers was disappointing.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. While the lush vegetation and gardens were beautiful, the dining experience was quite disappointing with a lack of variety and uncomfortable temperatures. The location was fantastic for exploring local shops and the beach, but the room's proximity to noise from the street detracted from the experience. Overall, it's a nice resort but I think there are areas that need improvement, particularly regarding food and room positioning.

My stay at Secrets Villamil was overall very pleasant. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the lush gardens around the resort added to the beautiful setting. While the dining options were good, especially during breakfast and lunch, I found the buffet dinner could use a bit more variety, particularly for dietary needs. The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, but certain areas of the hotel, such as the gym, need some attention to modernize them.
